Student Fees & Tuition

Registration Fee

  • January 20-February 20 $50 per student
  • February 21-March 20 $75 for first child/$65 each additional sibling
  • March 21-April 30 $100 for first child/$75 each additional sibling
  • After May 1 $150 per student (on a space available basis only)

Tuition

  • Twinkler tuition per student $475
  • Book 1 or 2 tuition per student $550
  • Book 3 and up tuition per student $600
  • Bass Program tuition per student $550
  • Sibling Enrichment Class per student and per class $75

Accounts with balance due on May 1 will be assessed a $50 late fee.


Chamber Music Workshop Fees & Tuition

Application Fee

  • January 20-February 20 $50 per student
  • February 21-March 20 $75 for first child/$65 each additional sibling
  • Application closes March 20

Tuition & Teen Dorm

  • CMW Tuition per student $700 (including lunch)
  • Teen Dorm per student $330 (includes room & board - includes breakfast & dinner)    

Once you have been notified of acceptance, tuition and appropriate accommodations and meals are due by April 30.  If payment is not received by April 30 your spot in CMW is forfeited.

  • Every Child Can! (including box lunch) $175 per participant

Housing

Prices are per room and include tax.

8 nights Single Room, check-in June 17 & check-out June 25: $475 per room.

5 nights Single Room, check-in June 18 & check-out June 23: $295 per room.

5 nights Double Room, check-in June 18 & check-out June 23: $475 per room.

5 nights Suite (up to 4 people in two double-occupancy rooms), check-in June 18 & check-out June 23: $950 per suite.

Optional Additional Night(s) of June 16 (check-out June 17) OR June 23 (check-out June 24): $60 per person per night

Teen Dorm (Chamber Music Workshop Participants ONLY): $330 per person includes room and board.

Meals

PLEASE NOTE: Walk-in meals are NOT available in the cafeteria. 

ALL MEALS MUST BE PRE-PURCHASED BY May 15.

Meal Plans:

Daily Lunch Plan, June 18-23: $60 per person

5 day complete meal plan, Lunch June 18 thru Dinner June 23: $165 per person

7 day complete meal plan, Breakfast June 18 thru Dinner June 24: $200 per person

Prices are per person and include tax.

Please note that a boxed lunch is included in June 17 Every Child Can! tuition.

Refund Policy

In the event that you decide to cancel your registration, notify the Los Angeles Suzuki Institute in writing by April 15. There is a $100 non-refundable cancellation fee per participant. The payment of all other fees will be returned if email or postal notice of cancellation is received by April 15.

Due to commitments to faculty and travel plans, applicants who withdraw April 16-30 receive a 50% refund of fees (less the $100 non-refundable cancellation fee per participant).  Withdrawal May 1 and after forfeit all fees.

If enrollment is full or a teacher-training course is canceled, all registration and course fees will be refunded.

Please note: there will be no refunds for early dorm check out or unused portions of meal plan.
