Tuition & Teen Dorm

  • CMW Tuition includes room and board from June 17-22: $1150

  • All CMW participants stay in the Teen Dorm

  • Once you have been notified of acceptance, tuition is due by April 30. If payment is not received by April 30 your spot in CMW is forfeited.

Housing

Prices are per room and include tax.

  • 5 nights Single Room, check-in June 17 & check-out June 22: $310 per room.
    1 person with 1 single bed

  • 5 nights Double Room, check-in June 17 & check-out June 22: $480 per room.
    2 people with 2 single beds

  • 5 nights Suite, check-in June 17 & check-out June 22: $960 per suite.
    Up to 4 people in two double-occupancy rooms, all single beds

  • 8 nights Single Room, check-in June 14 & check-out June 22: $496 per room.
    1 person with 1 single bed

  • 8 nights Double Room, check-in June 14 & check-out June 22: $768 per room.

  • Optional Additional Night(s) of June 13, 14, 15, 16, 22 or 23: $65 per person per night

Meals

Eat lunch in the cafeteria with your new friends - a super convenient option! Pitzer Cafeteria prides themselves on sourcing as much local produce as possible - in fact, much of it is grown by Pitzer College.

PLEASE NOTE: Walk-in meals are NOT available in the cafeteria. 

ALL MEALS MUST BE PRE-PURCHASED BY May 15.

Meal Plans:

  • Daily Lunch Plan, June 17-22: $75 per person

  • 5 day Meal Plan, all meals from Lunch June 17 thru Lunch June 22: $202 per person

  • Enrichment Course Meal Plan, Dinner June 22 thru Lunch June 23: $38 per person

  • Unit 1 Meal Plan, Breakfast and Lunch on June 15 & 16, Breakfast June 17 thru Lunch on June 22: $262 per person

Refund Policy

In the event that you decide to cancel your registration, notify the Los Angeles Suzuki Institute in writing by April 15. There is a $100 non-refundable cancellation fee per participant. The payment of all other fees will be returned if email or postal notice of cancellation is received by April 15.

Due to commitments to faculty and travel plans, applicants who withdraw April 16-30 receive a 50% refund of fees (less the $100 non-refundable cancellation fee per participant).  Withdrawal May 1 and after forfeit all fees.

If you register after May 1, and then decide to cancel your registration, all fees are forfeited.

If enrollment is full or a teacher-training course is canceled by LASI, all registration and course fees will be refunded. There are no refunds given for registrants who do not complete the course prerequisites or the SAA audition requirement, if the refund request is made after the refund deadlines. Registrants who have not completed the course prerequisites and audition requirement by the first day of the course will continue to participate as auditors. Auditors observe the class but do not fully participate. Auditors will not have the course registered with the SAA as completed.

Please note: there will be no refunds for early dorm check out or unused portions of meal plan.
